1. Booking and Confirmation

1.1 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only after receiving a booking confirmation email.
1.2 A deposit or full payment, as specified during booking, must be made to secure your reservation.

2. Payment Policy

2.1 Payments can be made via credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other methods as agreed.
2.2 Full payment is required before the commencement of your tour, unless stated otherwise.
2.3 Late payments may result in cancellation or additional charges.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or another agreed-upon method.
3.2 Cancellation fees are as follows:

• 30 days or more before the tour: Full refund minus administrative fees.
• 15-29 days before the tour: 50% refund.
• Less than 15 days before the tour: No refund.
  3.3 Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving the cancellation request.

4. Changes to Itinerary

4.1 While we strive to adhere to the planned itinerary, changes may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, strikes, or government regulations.
4.2 Alternative arrangements will be made where possible, but additional costs arising from such changes may be passed on to the client.

5. Responsibilities and Liabilities

5.1 World Roots Travel acts as an intermediary for transport, accommodation, and other services and is not liable for any delays, injuries, or losses caused by third parties.
5.2 Clients are responsible for having valid passports, visas, and other required travel documents.
5.3 Travel insurance is strongly recommended, as we do not provide coverage for personal injury, illness, or loss of personal belongings.

6. Health and Safety

6.1 It is the client’s responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or special requirements in advance.
6.2 We recommend consulting a physician regarding vaccinations or health precautions required for travel.

7. Conduct and Behavior

7.1 Clients must respect local customs, laws, and traditions during the tour.
7.2 Any misconduct, including illegal activities, may result in immediate termination of services without a refund.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 All content on our website, including text, images, and logos, is the intellectual property of World Roots Travel and may not be reproduced without permission.

9. Privacy Policy

9.1 We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how your personal information is used.

10. Force Majeure

10.1 World Roots Travel is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or other emergencies.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be resolved under Sri Lankan jurisdiction.
