At World Roots Travel, we strive to provide exceptional travel experiences. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. This policy outlines our return and refund guidelines to ensure transparency and fairness.
1. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are applicable under the following circumstances:
1.1 Cancellation requests made within the specified timeframes as outlined in our Terms and Conditions.
1.2 Refund requests for services that could not be provided due to issues directly caused by World Roots Travel (e.g., double bookings).
2. Cancellation and Refund Timeframes
2.1 Tour Cancellations:
- 30 days or more before the start date: Full refund minus administrative fees.
- 15-29 days before the start date: 50% refund.
- Less than 15 days before the start date: No refund.
2.2 No-Shows: Clients who fail to attend the tour or departure will not be eligible for a refund.
2.3 Force Majeure: Refunds or alternative arrangements may be provided at our discretion for cancellations due to unforeseen events like natural disasters or political unrest.
3. Refund Process
3.1 Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@worldrootstravel.com.
3.2 The request should include the booking reference number, client details, and the reason for the refund.
3.3 Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving the written request.
4. Non-Refundable Services
The following are non-refundable:
4.1 Visa fees, travel insurance, and other third-party services.
4.2 Tickets for events or attractions that have been purchased in advance.
4.3 Customized packages where upfront non-refundable payments were required.
5. Amendments Instead of Refunds
We encourage clients to consider rescheduling their trips or modifying bookings instead of cancellations. Rescheduling fees may apply, depending on the service providers.
